May-Hegglin anomaly
Description: Centrally in a neutrophilic granulocyte you can see a paragranular localised unclear light-blue inclusion body and in the lower part of the picture there is a giant platelet (macrophtopmbocyte). Both of these phenomenons are typical for MHA.
Type: peripheral blood
Klíčová slova*: Doehle body, macrothrombocyte

AML with multilineage dysplasia - PB
Description: Two myeloblasts at this next picture document that even in normal leukocyte count (5,0 G/l) circulating myeloblasts represent dominant population in patient's peripheral blood smears. Group of trombocytes (at the left from upper myeloblast) shows marked anizocytosis.
Type: peripheral blood
Klíčová slova*: myeloblast, thrombocyte, anisocytosis

Chronic myelogenous leukaemia - chronic phase
Description: Basophils are almost invariable increased including immature forms in peripheral blood smears (to the right from the middle). Granulocytes show normal maturation. There are numerous thrombocytes in the smear.
