Description:
Ropheocytosis is a transport of ferritin and hemosiderin form macrophage to erythroblasts.
Erythroblastic "island": macrophage (siderophage) surrounded with cluster of erythroblasts. The macrophage phagocytoses defective erythroblasts and extruded erythroblast nuclei.
4-years old girl, treated for ALL, BM aspirate within remision.
