Chronic myelogenous leukaemia - lymphoblastic transformation

Description:
35 years old male with dg. chronic myeloid leukaemia, after allogenous peripheral stem cell transplantation, now molecular relapse. Morphology of bone marrow shows infiltration of blast cells (70%), reduced granulopoesis and erythropoesis. Blast cells are small to medium in size, high N/C ratio, some with uropods, cytoplasm without granulation. Cytochemistry MPOX: majority of blasts (99%) are negative. Imunophenotyping of bone marrow: CD 10+13-19+20-33-34+38+lambda+ , matches common B ALL.
