43 year old 5 gravida 3 para referred by gynecologist for the suspicion of an ectopic pregnancy. Patient had 6 weeks amenorrhoea, mild pelvic pain and light bleeding. She had 3 uncomplicated vaginal deliveries and 1 pregnancy termination, underwent right salpingectomy 4 years ago due to an ectopic, right tubal pregnancy. Pregnancy test was positive, bimanual pelvic examination confirmed light vaginal bleeding, uterus of normal size, left adnexal region tender to palpation. Transvaginal ultrasound described anteverted uterus, endometrium 10 mm, no sign of gestation sac in the uterine cavity, both ovaries of normal size with follicles. On the left to the uterus iwas an anisoechigenic formation with gestation sac and fetal pole 5 wks+2 days according to the CRL. Laparoscopy was performed with the following findings: uterus and both ovaries of normal size with no abnormalities. Right uterine tube missing, it was removed 4 years ago due to an ectopic pregnancy in the right uterine tube. Ampullar part of the left uterine tube is dilated with the tubal pregnancy. Left salpingectomy was performed. Histology confirmed left tubal pregnancy.
